Anis Alisya Binti Abdullah

Anis Alisya Abdullah obtained her academic and professional qualifications in Science and TESL from National University of Malaysia and University Malaya respectively. She attained her PGCert in Trainer Development from Plymouth Marjon University. She has been a teacher, teacher educator and currently she is the Director of Institute of Teacher Education (IPG) Tun Abdul Razak Campus. Anis played an instrumental role in co- ordinating the B.Ed(TESOL) twinning programme between ITE Batu Lintang Campus, Malaysia and University of Otago, New Zealand from 2008 to 2013. In 2019 she received the Certificate of Achievement from University of Aix- Marseille, France for her contribution as panel writer and online tutor in the Blended Learning for Teacher Educators Between Asia and Europe (BLTeae) Project which was funded by Erasmus+ European Union.

Highly organised and very committed, Anis maintains high standards in her duties. Under her leadership ITE Tun Abdul Razak has garnered various awards at the national level. These include Excellent financial management (2020, 2021 and 2022) Award given by MOE Malaysia, Excellent ITE Award (2022) and Go Global Award 2022 presented by ITE Malaysia and Award for Conducive Work Environment for Public Institution (2022) given by Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit. ITE Tun Abdul Razak also received international recognition at The Global Globe Tigers Asia Edition 2022 for Topmost Educational Institution.

Anis's drive, work ethics and acumen ensured she is in the top echelon of the teaching profession. She has received various awards as recognition for her contribution in the education field, particularly in enhancing the quality of teacher training. She has thrice been awarded the National Excellent Service Award for the years 1999, 2009 and 2020 by MOE Malaysia. In 2020, she was also awarded the Pegawai Bintang Kenyalang Sarawak by the Governor of Sarawak. In 2023, she was appointed as Excellent ITE Director by MOE Malaysia
